EXPLORE · WATERFALLS
Pennsylvania's waterfalls are in the Pocono Mountains, the Endless Mountains, and the Laurel Highlands. Dingmans Falls in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area is the second-highest waterfall in the state at 130 feet. Raymondskill Falls nearby is a three-tiered cascade totaling 178 feet — the state's highest. Bushkill Falls in the Poconos is a private attraction with eight waterfalls accessible by trail. Ohiopyle State Park on the Youghiogheny has Cucumber Falls and Jonathan Run Falls within the park. The Loyalsock Creek drainage in Sullivan County has multiple backcountry falls in the state forest.
Waterfall flow varies by season — spring snowmelt produces peak flows. Check trail conditions before visiting remote sites. Some falls are seasonal and may be dry in late summer. Explore all waterfalls on the Trek4Free map →
