New Jersey's most significant waterfall is Buttermilk Falls in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area — a 200-foot drop that is one of the tallest waterfalls in New Jersey. Van Campen's Glen in the same area has multiple falls on Pompey Creek. Tillman Ravine in Stokes State Forest has a hemlock-lined gorge with cascades. Most of New Jersey's waterfall terrain is in the northern Highlands along the Delaware River border. The Kittatinny Ridge and the Wawayanda Plateau have additional falls accessible from the Long Trail.
