Waterfalls in Nebraska

Nebraska's waterfall geography is limited. Smith Falls State Park on the Niobrara River has Nebraska's highest waterfall at 63 feet — a spring-fed fall dropping into the Wild and Scenic river corridor in Cherry County, 90 miles north of Valentine. The Niobrara River corridor has additional small falls along the float-trip section. The Pine Ridge area in the northwest corner has some topographic relief but limited waterfall features.
